The Lawn at White River State Park

Detail: The Lawn at White River State Park, an all ages venue which opened in August 2003, accommodates up to 6,000 people. Complete with a waterfront bandstand, this area is used for concerts, festivals and other community events. When not rented out for events, this area may also be used as a place for people to relax or picnic. The Lawn at White River State Park has featured performances by top musicians since it's opening in 2003 including: Crosby Stills & Nash, Lyle Lovett, George Benson, Ben Folds, The Roots, Trey Anastasio, Indigo Girls, Huey Lewis and the News, Chris Robinson (of the Black Crowes, Matisyahu, Keller Williams, & more.



At White River State Park, you'll find trails, grassy areas and waterways just like you'd see at any other state park. However, that's where the similarities end. White River State Park has cultural, educational and recreational attractions to offer something interesting to each visitor. The Park is home to the Indianapolis Zoo, White River Gardens, Indiana State Museum, IMAX® Theater, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, NCAA Hall of Champions, Victory Field and the Congressional Medal of Honor Memorial.
