Detail: Great Scott is one of Indianapolis' premier rock acts. Their original music has traces of alternative, country, pop, and rock with great harmonies, a driving bass section, and sing-a-long choruses. The band draws influence from a number of sources including Supertramp and the Eagles, to Matchbox 20 and Pearl Jam. After over 300 shows through four Midwestern states (Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, and Missouri) GS! has developed its sound and style to be just as comfortable in a pub with a few dozen people, a relaxed bar during an acoustic show, or a club with hundreds of screaming and dancing music lovers. Fans truly enjoy both the music and the energy coming off the stage.
